GTmetrix Alternative

GTmetrix is a proven tool for lab testing from many locations. PerfDelta puts the emphasis elsewhere: the field data of real users that Google bases its assessment on, and a direct comparison with your competitors. Which tool fits better depends on what you want to measure.

GTmetrix strengths: many locations and frequent lab tests

According to its pricing page (as of October 8, 2026), GTmetrix Advanced costs 24.99 US dollars a month billed yearly and includes unlimited on-demand tests under a fair-use policy, ten monitored slots, hourly monitoring and 28 test locations. If you need load times from specific regions, with specific connection profiles or as video, GTmetrix serves that well.

PerfDelta: field data and competitor comparison first

PerfDelta centers on Chrome UX Report field data, the values Google uses for page experience, and tests in the lab alongside. Every report compares your site with competitors, up to two already in the free test. The recommendations are written by a language model from the measured issues and your technology stack, each linking to the matching guide.

Monitoring and plans compared

GTmetrix counts monitored slots per URL and test profile. PerfDelta counts URLs: Solo monitors 25 URLs daily with field data, Agency 150 URLs as often as every six hours with white-label reports, which GTmetrix lists only for Enterprise plans. For very frequent lab tests from many locations GTmetrix is the better choice; for field data and competitor tracking, PerfDelta is.

FAQ

Does PerfDelta show the same values as GTmetrix?

Lab data in both tools is based on Lighthouse but differs with location, device and connection profile. Chrome UX Report field data is at the centre of the PerfDelta report.

Can I use PerfDelta for free?

Yes. The free test measures three pages on mobile and desktop with up to two competitors, without an account. A free account keeps the results.

Where do the GTmetrix details come from?

From the public GTmetrix pricing page, retrieved on October 8, 2026. Plans change, so the current page of the provider is what counts.
